BlackRock reveals competitive 0.25% fee for spot Ethereum ETF as issuers update filings

The Amplify ETF Trust, which has the Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) as its only fund, updated its S-1 filing to include a 0.75% management fee for the proposed Amplify Ethereum ETF. The fund would trade on the NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol ETHR. The S-1 also specified that the sponsor fee for ETHR would be waived until at least February 28, 2022.
Proposed Trading Launch Date
Meanwhile, the VanEck Ethereum Trust also updated its S-1 filing to include a 1% management fee for its proposed VanEck Ethereum ETF, which would trade on the Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker symbol ETHO. The sponsor fee for ETHO would be waived until at least December 31, 2021. The fund's proposed trading launch date is August 4, 2021, pending approval from the SEC.
